Couple Checkup for First Responders (CC4FR) -
Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and Dispatchers
Couple Checkup for First Responders is a confidential online assessment tool designed to identify the unique relationship strengths and growth areas of dating, engaged, or married couples.
CC4FR is private, confidential, self-directed, customized, research-based, and practical. CC4FR includes a free Couple Checkup Discussion Guide and/or Workbook.
CC4FR will automatically customize the online assessment to address the stage (dating, engaged, or married) and structure (cohabiting, children, step-families, older couples) of each First Responder couple.
Each couple receives a 15 to 20-page report, with their results broken down into relational categories, including but not limited to:
- Financial Management
- Affection and Sexual Relationship
- Family Closeness and Flexibility
- Conflict Resolution
- Relationship Roles
- Couple Closeness and Flexibility
- Family of Origin
The Couple Checkup has high levels of validity and reliability. It is very accurate and is based on the highly respected PREPARE/ENRICH Assessment, which has been used by about 4,000,000 couples.
CC4FR consultation and/or training is available for local Departments & Agencies, especially for Peer Support Team Members & Department Chaplains.
